Description
Aftermarket stub shaft (stub spindle) for McLanahan® log washers, machined in Canada as a direct replacement for the OEM part. The 17″ flange bolts to the flanged end of the log with eight 3/4″ bolts, the 100 mm journal carries the log in its bearing, and a shrink-fit 304 stainless sleeve gives the tub seal a corrosion-resistant surface to run on instead of bare mild steel. Sold individually and made to order.

Details
- Overall length: 19.125″; 17.125″ from the flange face to the end of the journal
- Flange: 17.000″ OD x 1.250″ thick, eight 0.812″ holes equally spaced on a 15.250″ PCD, 4.000″ x 0.750″ pilot on the back face
- Hub: 7.000″ OD, welded to the flange with chamfered weld preps both sides
- Seal sleeve: 304 stainless (316 on request), 4.625″ OD x 6.062″ long, shrink fit on a 4.000″ seat
- Bearing journal: 3.9365″/3.9355″ (100 mm nominal) x 8.125″ long, end drilled and tapped 5/8″-11 UNC x 2.000″ deep for the bearing retainer
- Material: 1018 steel body and flange; critical diameters held to ±0.002″, sleeve fit to ±0.001″
