Torch Ring for HP300, HP400 and GP500 Cone Crushers

Cone crusher torch ring for Metso® Nordberg HP300, HP400 and GP500 crushers. The torch ring is welded to the mantle and the locking bolt (locking nut) after a new mantle is fitted, locking everything together and sealing dust out of the head. It is a sacrificial part: it is cut off at every liner change and replaced along with the new mantle.

What the torch ring does

• Locks the mantle. Once the new mantle is centred on the head and the locking bolt is tightened, the ring is welded to both the mantle and the locking bolt so nothing can back off in service.
• Seals out dust. It closes the gap at the top of the mantle and keeps dust and contaminants out of the sensitive areas of the crusher.
• Guides the feed. As part of the feed plate assembly it helps direct material into the crushing chamber between the mantle and the concave.
• Replaced every liner change. The ring is cut off to release the worn mantle, so plan on one torch ring per mantle change.
